The Wonders of Christmas

Some of you may recognize this, as it was on our family Christmas Card this year.
I just love it, because Gabby is staring at our tree in such amazement.
Yes, there are tons of presents under it now, but this was actually taken at the end of November, before the presents made their way under the tree.

Gracie

I am blogging out of order, because I technically took Harper's pictures first! I just happened to be on Gracie's when I decided to "brand" a few with my watermark and update my blog.
I promise - I'll get Harper's posted in the next couple of days. :)

So - here's Gracie!
This little girl was a breeze to shoot!
I'd tell her to "give me some attitude, and she would! She's hilarious!
I also asked her what color Rudolph's nose was, she answered, "Yellow!" and started laughing!

Savannah Kate

Ms. Savannah was the sweetest little girl! She was so fun to photograph.
She & Gabby Grace are about 2 months apart, so, of course, I am very used to being around a little one that age. They don't like to look at the camera! They look everywhere but where you tell them to! It's just another way to show their independence.

Santa came to Ridgeland, MS early this year!

I am up to my eyeballs in Santa Claus pics, and it's so fun! We had 3 days of Santa Claus pics @ Animal Crackers children's boutique in Ridgeland. I was so sick the first day - I felt awful, but, as you all know, seeing lots of adorable kids helped as much as it could!
I had fever, sore throat, sinuses, stuffy head, etc... but I hung in there!
Anyways - enough of my pity party...


Kids + Santa = HILARIOUS!

Some loved him, most hated him!

I think some customers thought we were running a children's torture chamber at times - with all the screaming going on! I just laughed and laughed, as it reminded me of myself at an early age.
All of my Santa pics, from when I was a child, are TERRIBLE! Me, red faced, screaming and trying to get out of Santa's lap!
They are the pics I can look back on and laugh about now!
Well, those and pics of me in high school with feathered bangs, but that's a story for another time and place...

Chapel of the Cross

We took Gabby Grace, Tyler and Will to Chapel of the Cross on Friday, for a photo shoot, and to let them romp around in the open-field.

New pics and website update

I've been absent lately, but there's good reason. I've given my photography website a complete overhaul. I still have more to add, but check it out J. Caraway Photography. (turn your volume up :) )

Oh - and these were taken yesterday. Her "Gramby Dee" was here to visit, and made her laugh so that I could snap a few.

My canvas arrived!

So excited!
For those of you whom I haven't talked to death about this, now you know.
It's a 16x20 collage I created, and had done on a gallery wrapped canvas.
It's hanging in her room, now!
It's adorable! I love it!

Sidewalk Chalk

...Yep, that's what's in her hands, sidewalk chalk.
She didn't want to write on the driveway with it, she perferred to write on the fence. There are pics of that, but I'll have to post em later. Of course, the rain has washed it away. So, next time we play with the chalk, we'll have to start all over on our masterpiece.
