The good thing about that, is that I've just been too busy to get it done! :)

New pics and website update

I've been absent lately, but there's good reason. I've given my photography website a complete overhaul. I still have more to add, but check it out J. Caraway Photography. (turn your volume up :) )

Oh - and these were taken yesterday. Her "Gramby Dee" was here to visit, and made her laugh so that I could snap a few.

My canvas arrived!

For those of you whom I haven't talked to death about this, now you know.
It's a 16x20 collage I created, and had done on a gallery wrapped canvas.
It's hanging in her room, now!
It's adorable! I love it!

Sidewalk Chalk

...Yep, that's what's in her hands, sidewalk chalk.
She didn't want to write on the driveway with it, she perferred to write on the fence. There are pics of that, but I'll have to post em later. Of course, the rain has washed it away. So, next time we play with the chalk, we'll have to start all over on our masterpiece.

Just Gabby...

These were taken @ Gabby's grandma's house this past weekend.
She won't stand still, nor will she actually look at the camera, so I just have to get her in action!
She's growing so much! It's so hard to believe she's 16 months old now!

I've been so busy with wedding pics, band pics, invites, programs, bachelorette party, etc, that I haven't had time to work on many Gabby pics. (still taking em, just not uploading & editing them)

Step 1 - Just Do It.

I guess this was step 1 in my 12 step program of over-coming the fear of shooting a wedding.
As some of you know, the pictures themselves aren't my fear...I have an equipment failure fear.
I am not haunted by this fear in normal, everyday shoots, as those can be re-taken should some problem arise. But, a wedding...no, a wedding can't be re-shot. It's a once-in-a-lifetime event. (well, not nowadays, but that's a topic for another time and place).

So, enough of my rambling...here's a few pics from yesterday's wedding. And yes, its only a few, as the wedding was only yesterday, and I haven't had time to edit too many of them.

Will's Birthday Pics

Playdate @ The Play Place

Gabby Grace, Will, Tyler & Bayli Ballard all met up at The Play Place in Ridgeland for this weeks playdate. They had lots of fun playing with each other. Here's a few shots from the day. And although we TRIED taking a group pic of them, it just didn't work out. There's not one picture where you can see all of their faces. Gabby, of course, being the first one to bolt up and out everytime we'd get them all seated.

Well, I guess "little" isn't the right word to use, considering Mr. Brown is set to be a star football player! I need to post some from his Birthday Party, and I will, soon , but for now here's a couple taken this past Monday.

Pics from the weekend

No, she doesn't pose, these are by accident. She wanted to stand by the fence, because Dylan was standing by the fence. And, she loves roses now. One was about to break off of her rose bush, so I picked it, took the thorns off and gave it to her. She carried it around until it was no more. The sundress pic is her @ Will Brown's birthday party.
